Wood Project Patterns
Need ideas for an art project…English Longbow?
I have a unfinished and unsealed longbow that I am giving to my friend on his birthday this Sunday. I want to add some designs to the bow using my wood burner before I seal it. I intend to devote a lot of time to this but I need ideas as to what to burn into it. Does anyone have any suggestions or links to any good patterns that would work for a 6ft longbow? I want the entire bow covered with detail.
Maybe a hunting scene, men on horseback and on foot driving game through a wood towards the waiting archers.
Since English longbows are also known as Welsh longbows perhaps you could involve welsh Celtic patterns.
